Unbeknown to many Idris Alba musically known as Driis is no stranger to music and has contributed his skills to the industry for several years under various names. He has had tracks featured on Prom Night and Tyler Perry's Madea Goes To Jail soundtrack and produced for Jay-Z's American Gangster LP.
Finally, Driis is putting out more music in January 2010 with the EP King Amongst Kings. Feature producers include Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Vitamin D and Lasix. The sound of the offering combines Hip Hop, Lovers Rock and some Reggae . Hevlar Records invited me and now I am inviting you to take a listen to new track "Please Be True"
