This past Saturday, January 14th at K Street Lounge in NW DC Gypsy Soul attended Black Opulence. The pre-BET HONORS gifting suite event showcased many local business owners and their products.
K Street Lounge served as the perfect venue for the event creating an intimate space for soulcializing. While floating from station to station guests could sip on Remy Martin or Qream cocktails or get their non-alcoholic on with a variety of FUZE flavors. While being soulcial I was able to catch a glimpse of Rocsi from BET’s 106 and Park, as well as local celebs Yodit and DC Fab.

Some of my favorite “gifts” from the gifting suite were Tamicakes (cupcakes), Nothing But (hair care), Hair Finity (hair vitamins), and Gold-Diggers (accessories). Other services offered were eyebrow shaping and nail polishing.
On behalf of Gypsy Soul I’d like to give a big shout-out to Kim Wilson for organizing and inviting us to yet ANOTHER great event!
